SUMMERTIME FOR C.R. CRAWFORD

May 10, 2020

Summer usually means a vacation for K-12 students all across Arkansas, but for some of our project management teams, summer also means a specific focus on starting renovation projects just as soon as school dismisses for the summer and completing those projects well ahead of the start of the 2018/2019 school year in August.

Our summer project list includes renovations to the Margaret Daniels Elementary School for the Ashdown Public School District, and completing the year-long transformation of the Louise Durham Elementary School for the Mena Public School District. For our newest K-12 client, the Fayetteville Public School District, we will be completing a project to improve the site and playground at the Washington Elementary School.

Other summer work includes providing the Pea Ridge School District with comprehensive preconstruction phase services for an innovative new high school, with construction expected to begin in late 2018 or early 2019. We are also assisting other school districts in Arkansas develop plans and budgets for extensive campus improvements that will require voter approval of millage increases to finance the construction programs.

We are excited to be managing projects in the summer of 2018 and planning for future projects that will all provide improved facilities to support an even higher level of student achievement in each of the school districts we serve!
