Located in Flippin, Arkansas, which is the home of Ranger Boats and of Actronix, a producer of communication cabling for the defense industry, the new K-4 school facility will allow the school district’s early education classes to be housed in one location, while also providing spaces for a media center, fine arts, and administrative offices. The 48,000 square feet building, designed by Modus Studios, will include a PE facility located in the core of the building that will serve as a safe room in the event of severe weather. The building will feature an abundance of natural lighting and the use of sustainable building materials. Completion is scheduled for late 2016.
A significant milestone in many projects is when the time comes to hoist the last piece of structural steel to the top of a building’s structure.
A “wall-breaking” ceremony was recently held at the Siloam Springs Fire Station No. 2, located in downtown Siloam Springs.
