C.R. Crawford Construction has gained a hard earned reputation as a contractor that holds integrity, experience, quality, and dependability above all other considerations. C.R. Crawford Construction has focused on going the extra mile to exceed our client expectations. Over committing and under delivering has been the down fall of many organizations. We strive to operate at a capacity that gives each of our client’s projects the tremendous amount of attention that it deserves. Currently we maintain a workload of around 20 active projects, we work tirelessly to make the tough decisions it takes to get the job done on time and within budget.Â

Most contractors put too much emphasis on the volume of work they perform or the number of employees they have. At C.R. Crawford, above all else, our client’s satisfaction is how we measure our profitability.   A company’s health, experience, and stability can be measured by their Surety Bond rates and bonding capacity. Our clients are privy to that information and we welcome comparisons.Â

 Cody R. Crawford

Cody grew up in El Dorado, AR. After attending the University of Arkansas and majoring in Architecture, it became clear that his passion was more in the actual construction of projects than the design of them. He transferred to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management. Â

Cody began working in the construction business at the age of 17 and has never been off course since. “I was lucky, because I knew the career path I wanted take at a very early age” says Crawford.  Growing up in an area known to be an industrial based economy, his early years in the business were spent in the field working at chemical plants, power plants, steel mills and fabrication plants. Eventually discovering a passion for commercial construction, Cody has since spent the rest of his career building retail centers, banks, office buildings, restaurants, medical and educational facilities.

 Jason Keathley

Jason Keathley is a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management. He was instrumental in the start up of AGC and ABC student organizations at UALR, which he served as president.Â

Early in his career, he lived in various metropolitan areas in the US providing on-site project management for Resorts Casino’s and Hotels. The most significant projects were The Westin Diplomat Hotel in Hollywood, FL and the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Grapevine, TX. The Diplomat was valued over $650 million and was the largest commercial project in the United States in 2001. “Its hard to imagine, in my lifetime, that I could ever witness a denser concentration of large scale construction projects happening in one place at one time than the projects on the southern Atlantic Coast of Florida at the turn of the century. The skyline drastically changed over a 12 month period” Jason says. The Diplomat was featured on the cover of ENR magazine and consisted of a 1,000 room hotel – convention center, golf course, parking garage, marina and spa. Â

Jason brings unique experience to the ownership team with his experience in a wide range of projects in different states from C- stores to beachfront resort hotels.

 J. Mike Forbis

Mike Forbis began his career working in the field in the Memphis area at the age of 16. Years of hard work in the field and his entrepreneur spirit eventually lead Mike to start F&F Construction with his father's assistance. His father passed away several months later, but Mike continued working hard to build a business of integrity and dependability. Thirty years later he has built F&F Construction into a $40 million dollar company in annual volume. Mike’s ownership in 5 construction related businesses have all been a success due to “being fair and honest with everyone that you encounter”.

Today, Mike actively travels an average of 2-3 days per week to active job sites to monitor progress and to perspective jobs sites to analyze conditions for our clients. Any of Mike’s 40+ employees say it’s not uncommon on his random visits to the jobs to see him holding one end of a tape measurer or any other way he can offer a helping hand. “Its always refreshing to show my employees that we are all a team, and I’ll help do whatever it takes for us accomplish our goal of going above and beyond the call of duty for our clients. Although Mike’s passion in business has always been construction, he spends 2-3 weeks out of the year donating his time and providing financial assistance to charitable causes, including an orphanage that he has adopted.
